About the Fayre
Welcome to the Corsley Fayre! We had such lovely feedback from the 2022 Fayre and are jolly pleased that we'll be putting on another one this year! It's a really fun afternoon for all the family, so do come along and join in!
This year, to cover some of our costs, entry to the Fayre will be £5 per car. The ticket you'll receive doubles up as a raffle ticket - fill in the ticket and deposit it at the Control Centre to be in with a chance of winning some absolutely cracking prizes - more details of prizes will appear here soon. You must be over 18 to enter the raffle
Entries for the Horticulture and Crafts competitions are FREE for everyone. We would like encourage everyone to enter the classes in the Horticulture and Crafts competition - it doesn't matter if you don't live in Corsley! You can download the schedule or pick up a copy – it's not finalised yet but it should be ready in May 2023.
Corsley WI are continuing their fabulous tea tent and there’ll lots of activities for the kids – pony rides, races and the ever-popular inflatables! We'll also have a bar to slate your thirst, skittles to test your bowling skills and archery for all ages.
Afterwards, there will be a Ceilidh, from 7.30pm to 11.00pm, raising money for the radiotherapy team at RUH Bath to purchase a high-precision Surface Guided Radiotherapy System. Do come along and fling yourself about to the White Horse Band and a caller. If it all gets too much, raid your purse or wallet and tuck into a burger and drinks at the bar. Tickets cost £16 for adults and £13 for children under 13. Tickets MUST be bought in advance; contact email@example.com or visit https://buytickets.at/corsleyceilidh/896366
Non-ticket holders will not be admitted to the Ceilidh.
Volunteer to help out
If you fancy volunteering, please do get in contact – we’d love to have you on board. Here's a list of jobs you can sign up to – from helping out on the day, to helping set up or take down (on Sunday).
Setup/takedown – do you have some time (a couple of hours) to spare before the day of the Fayre to help us set everything up, or to help take it all down on Sunday 3rd September?
On-Site Stewards – could you help out for up to a couple of hours (or more if you'd like to!) on the day of the Fayre?
Car Parking Marshalls – on the day of the Fayre, we'll need some help directing traffic on the field and making sure everyone parks in the right area!
If you'd like to help us out, please email firstname.lastname@example.org – we're looking forward to hearing from you!
The Fayre is accessible to everyone, but please do bear in mind that it is held on a field. There's an area for disabled parking and a toilet for disabled visitors too.
