About the Fayre

Welcome to the Corsley Fayre! We had such lovely feedback from the previous Fayres and are jolly pleased that we'll be putting on another one this year! It's a really fun afternoon for all the family, so do come along and join in!

This year, to cover some of our costs, entry to the Fayre will be £10 per car.

Entries for all the classes in the Horticulture and Crafts competitions are FREE for everyone. We would like encourage everyone to enter the classes in the Horticulture and Crafts competition – it doesn't matter if you don't live in Corsley!

Corsley WI are continuing their fabulous tea tent and there’ll be tons of activities for the kids – lots of races and the ever-popular inflatables! We'll also have a proper bar to slate your thirst, skittles to test your bowling skills, archery for all ages and loads more!

Volunteer to help out

If you fancy volunteering, please do get in contact – we’d love to have you on board. Here's a list of jobs you can sign up to – from helping out on the day, to helping set up (on Friday) or take down (on Sunday).

Setup/takedown – do you have some time (a couple of hours) to spare the day before the Fayre to help us set everything up, or to help take it all down on Sunday?

On-Site Stewards – could you help out for up to a couple of hours (or more if you'd like to!) on the day of the Fayre?

Car Parking Marshalls – on the day of the Fayre, we'll need some help directing traffic on the field and making sure everyone parks in the right area!

If you'd like to help us out, please email help@corsleyfayre.org.uk – we're looking forward to hearing from you!

Accessibility

The Fayre is accessible to everyone, but please do bear in mind that it is held on a field. There will be an area for disabled parking and a toilet for disabled visitors too.

Horticulture and Crafts

The deadline for online entries is 11pm on Wednesday 26th August 2026 (a little later than the paper entries).

A paper version of the entry form is available, but we'd prefer it if you'd enter online as it saves us an awful lot of processing time! If you know anyone who would benefit from entering the classes using a paper form, you will find one at the back of the printed schedule OR at Acres Supply (Corsley). You can get a printed copy of the schedule from a number of outlets or download one from here (when it's ready!),  then drop off the form at either Acres Supply (Corsley) or Barters Plant Centre (Chapmanslade). Please note that the deadline for paper entries is 4pm Wednesday 26th August 2026.

If you've entered online, an email confirmation of your entry will be sent to you automatically and you can amend your entries right up until the deadline, which is 11pm on Wednesday 26th August 2026.

ALL entries to the H&C competitions are FREE!

Get cracking with your art, photography, handicrafts ready for the public to be dazzled by your skills and ingenuity on Saturday 29th August 2026!

You can bring your exhibits up to the Fayre from 8am to 9am on Saturday 29th August 2026. The marquee will close at 9am so that judging for classes A, B, E and H can commence. Please note that ALL exhibits for ALL classes must be set up before 9am, so don't be late! Judging for the other classes will be the same as in previous years - by tokens awarded by members of the public who will pick their favourite in each class - it's great fun, so do join in! Certificates for classes A, B, E and H will be awarded as soon as the judges have completed each class - you'll be able to see who has won what when the Fayre opens at 11am. Certificates for the other classes will be awarded from 3 pm.

Please note that exhibits are not to be removed from the marquee until after 5 pm.

Photography: you can either mount your photograph or use one of our clear photo pockets (18 x 13cm/7 x 5") which will be available on the day.

For all information about exhibiting, timings, etc., please download a pdf of the schedule.
